Why not car/cigrat power outlet

Dear Quark-elect team, Today I received the order. Thank you for shipping this fast! I got one question: the QK-026 came with a waning to not use it with a USB-plug in a 12V car/cigaret power outlet. As the 12V of the outlet is from the same power source as other devices aboard use, it must be the U...

Re: A034 N2K GPS position data problem

You probably need to wait Quark to give you details, I had a similar problem on my Garmin 5008 with A028 last year. The issue was fixed by selecting a proper GPS source in the config page on Garmin5008. The default GPS source is internal on the Garmin plotter.

Re: upgrade a206 to a501t

A051 has a different GPS connection, so you need a separate GPS. I kept a026 and 051t together on my boat so to backup each other.

Re: A024/026 WiFi unreliable issue---solved

I had the same problem a couple of years before. The problem was solved after talking with staff from Quark elec. The IP address needs to be static in some cases. Now, i always using a static ip address to ensure a reliable connection.

Better let others know how did you set up the connection. Guessing you need the protocol bridge but not sure.

Nasa wind masthead with A032---also discussed the connections with A031/A033

After checking the other post I have done the following connection today. Just in case somebody needs this I would like to share my job here:) If your NASA wind masthead outputs at 10Hz rate don't try it. As the other post has discussed, it only works with Quark's A033, not A032. By connecting below...

Re: Cannot get A031 to work

My local installer said if your NASA Wind masthead comes with Wind clipper display, it will only work with its own clipper. The MWV sentence output from the masthead actually isn't the standard 0183 format. Can Quark confirm this, please?

Updated:. Now picking up targets up to 15 miles away. Changed fitting on the new antenna and it's working fine now on Navionics.
Interesting to know what kind of aerial you are using now. Thanks Chris.
