A031 only works as a multiplexer, it doesn't convert any sentences. As long as its the standard NMEA sentences it can be multiplexed and send out via WIFI/USA and NMEA 0183 output.

Hi Nickp,
Your NMEA 0183 interface provide single terminal interface so you need a protocol bridge to work with other RS 422(differentials terminals) devices(have two wires).

I believe you only need one AS03 and you can connect your Lowrance depth sounder to A031 directly. Check with us if you have problem with the connections. Regarding the WiFi, you are right. Well, How long have you been waiting after powering up. If your boat was not move, you need wait 3 minutes to get the next TX flash(if you were moving, this is 30 seconds). Can you double check this please.
