Re: QK-A027 and IC-M411 connections----Solved
Thank you for your support. 4800bps and reverse polarisation (“swap the wires”) does the trick. I receive the AIS data per wireless so the low baud rate does not affect me negatively. So I have the position on my VHF and the AIS + GPS on my tablet now, I think this will suit me. Yours is a very posi...

QK-A027 and IC-M411 connections----Solved
I did not seem to get the NMEA signal to the VHF (No position, no time). Anyone here know which settings for the outgoing NMEA should be used on A027? I am trying to connect the A027 NMEA Output to the VHF IC-M411.The documentation on the NMEA input of the M411 VHF radio is very limited… I tried to ...

So I went on line and bought a p...

Re: A026 WiFi unreliable issue---solved--also summarized the normal check points for this issue
I noticed if my iPad is locked, and is not connected to power, then wi-fi will temporarily disconnect from the wi-fi after about 20-30 seconds as a battery saving feature and this will affect my iphone connection with A027, this is very strange. Disable the battery saving mode on my iPad fixed this ...
