QK-A027 and iNavx on iPad 9.7" (2017) with iNavx

Post by NigelTopham »

Does the QK-A027 work with iNavx on an iPad 9.7" (2017) with iNavx over Wi-Fi? Does it overlay received AIS positions on the iNavx chart?

The previous post has a title of "My new QK-A027 doesn't work well" and does not relate to an iPad. So, to repeat my question, does the QK-A027 work with iNavx on an iPad 9.7" (2017) with iNavx over Wi-Fi? Does it overlay received AIS positions on the iNavx chart? I need this confirmation before I order one.

Hi Nigel,

I tryed with inavx, the maps from x-traverse, etc, and 2 ipads and Ais works well. I have some issues related to the seatalk data but they appair in all the applications I tryed, so it's not a inavx fault.

Anyway I don't understand why Quark-Elec doesn't test its devices with main software used via wifi, or why they don't say anything about inavx.
Best,

Xavier.

Hello Xavier and Nigel,
Thanks for your post. We have tested our QK-A026 with iNavx on Android and iPad last year. But havn't yet have chance try it with out with our new A027. But since these two products have the same design on the WiFi, so we assume QK-A027 should work with iNavx. We will test this very soon and keep all you updated. Meanwhile, this link maybe helpful for you.
