QK-A022 Red LED

I have looked through the manual and there is no reference anywhere to what the LED's should be doing
at Present I have a Slow Blinking Red LED
dose this relate to the sampling speed of the receiver listening on the AIS frequencies ? If so how can I change it
any help would be appreciated

Blinking Red LED indicates A022 works properly. You should see the green led flash when valid AIS messages received. The competitors' products are based on a different design. We don't want to comment more here. But you can get your feeling from the price, generally performance.

Thanks for clearing up what the Red LED should be doing
will persevere with it as its a nice compact unit that can be taken anywhere
